Mapei Ultracolor Plus with DropEffect technology is an ultra premium, fast-setting, polymer-modified, colour-consistent, non-shrinking, efflorescence-free grout for joint widths from 2mm to 2cm. DropEffect technology reduces surface absorption to help repel water, dirt, and grime from penetrating grout joints. Ultracolor Plus is specially formulated with Mapeis high-hydrated cement technology to eliminate the common problems related to Portland-cement grout, such as colour consistency and efflorescence. It is suitable for interior and exterior residential and commercial floor and wall surfaces in dry or wet conditions. Ultracolor Plus can be used to grout dimensional stone, slate, granite, stone agglomerates and most types of ceramic, ceramic mosaic, quarry, brick paver, porcelain, glass and clay tiles. It can be exposed to foot traffic within 3 to 4 hours.

Recommended Systems
Grouting may take place when the adhesive is completely set. The joints must be clean, free of dust and empty down to at least 2/3 of the thickness of the tiles. Any adhesive or mortar which has seeped into the joints while laying the tiles must be removed while still fresh. With very absorbent tiles, high temperatures or windy conditions dampen the joints with clean water. Preparing the mix: While stirring, pour Ultracolor Plus into a clean, rust-free container containing 21-23and#37; by weight of clean water. Mix the grout with a low-speed mixer to avoid air entrainment, until a smooth paste is obtained. Let the mix stand for 2-3 minutes, and stir again briefly before use. Use the mix within 20-25 minutes of its preparation. Applying the grout: Fill the joints with the Ultracolor Plus mix using a special MAPEI grout float or rubber squeegee, without leaving any gaps or steps. Remove any excess of Ultracolor Plus from the surface, by moving the float diagonally to the joints while the mix is still fresh.

*Panel cutting and edging normally takes 3-5 working days for despatch from the day of purchase.

Our delivery service is to kerbside only. Due to insurance guidelines, our drivers are unable to enter private residences. The recipient of the goods is responsible for any additional lifting once the initial delivery has been made, and for heavy and bulky items we would require additional support from the customer with the delivery.
